Expanding Strategy&Ops’ Impact in Africa!

As part of Strategy&Ops’ African Hub outreach, our CEO, Professor Fang Zhao, recently visited Stellenbosch University, the School for Climate Studies, and the Department of Botany and Zoology to explore collaboration opportunities in research, teaching, and advisory on climate change. Our appreciation goes to Prof Guy Midgley (Dean), Prof Theresa Wossler (HOD), Dr Carol Simon, Dr Nasreen Peer and other staff and many students at Stellenbosch University for their support!

A key highlight of this visit was Professor Zhao’s presentation to a large and engaged audience of students studying environmental and nature-related sciences. Titled “Climate Change, Business Applications, and Career Path,” the session explored the intersection of climate action and business, emphasizing how sustainability is shaping industries and opening up new career opportunities. Our Outreach Director, Alheit du Toit, engaged enthusiastically with the audience, providing insightful answers to their questions.

At Strategy&Ops, we are committed to creating real impact—not just in policy and business, but in empowering the next generation of sustainability leaders. Through partnerships with African research institutes and universities, we aim to build knowledge, inspire action, and foster global collaboration to drive meaningful change.
